Coffee Anakin Costume

This is a much more improved version of my previous Anakin tunic. I decided to change the fabric to a much more screen accurate version. The main fabric for making the outer tunic, tabard and sash is now made of a type of beige Indian woven coarse textile. The inner tunic has been upgraded to the present long sleeve version. Like my previous version, the broad shoulder and high collar Samurai Look is retained.

This uniform consist of a jacket, pants and belt. The main fabric for this uniform is made of cotton/polyester. The turtleneck which is highly stretchable is attached to the jacket. There is a gold finished turn lock on the rank flap. We used chain and snap on the underneath of the jacket flap as seen from the picture. The uniform is brand-new, and has never been worn. The chest insignia and other rank pins needed for this uniform is easily available at ebay or some internet site.

This is a screen accurate flightsuit that I have made. The green pleather that is used in construction is similar to the sommers version. To make it more comfortable, it has a inner silver satin. The vest is attached to the flightsuit by snap button on the shoulder and buckle at the waist. The scales look like reptiles scales and is bronze in color. The flight checklist can be downloaded and printed out from this link: flight checklist.

It cost me US$250(material, labor) to have this beautiful costume made and a further US$35 to have it shipped to my friends in the States. It comes with the flightsuit, vest, attachable BSG patch(easily remove by velcro), unsewn viper patch, unsewn raptor patch and unsewn vigilantes patch. I manage to spot a cotton singlet that look screen accurate from a shopping mall. It was sold at US$18.90. I had posted them to my friends in the States at US$8. For mens, only blue top is available and likewise for ladies, only coffee top is available. The shop assistance told me it is available in size of M(40"), L(44") and XL(48") for mens. For ladies, it is available in S(34"), M(36") and L(38").
